How are your Sacagawea and Presidential Golden Dollars holding up as far as toning in your Dansco albums? I know in circulation they get darker, just wondering how they react in an album.

My BU+ Sacagawea dollars have shown no 'darkening'. They've been in a Dansco for only a few years, however. Can't speak for what they may look like in another decade or two.

Mine look as good as the day they went into my Dansco album. I think that I need to start a new Topic for all my coins - I'm on vacation for the last 2 weeks on this month - I wonder if I can find time to finally post them up.

Glad to hear they are holding up well.
Dearborn, did you add the satins to your Presidential coins?

Quote: Dearborn, did you add the satins to your Presidential coins? the small dollar Presidential coins? These came in the annual uncirculated sets, correct? If so ,then yes I have them in my Dansco album. From what I can find they were only from 2007 to 2010 - 32 coins total. Now what I don't have are the P/D ones that were issued for circulation - I may have to remedy that.

Well, when I do get the BU circulation issues, I'll place them in the labeled pages and re-locate the Satins to a separate special labeled page to id them as 'Satin'. When I got the satin coins for all my other Dansco albums, I think I forgot about this one, because this series started late (2007 vs 2005)

Ask this in another 10 years. So far mine have no change to color that is noticeable.

I was looking at the albums and figured I could get replacement page 1 and page 2 from the Dansco 7184 which is the P&D album. It conveniently covers 2007 to 2010, so won't need to label anything other than indicate they are Satin

(I just hope the album can fit 2 more pages along with the slipcover.)

It will be awhile before I'm to the point of getting it. I don't even have the main album yet. I won't panic buy this one like I did the Women's Quarter page in fear of them selling out I'm a big list maker and planner and have probably 17 Dansco's that I want.
