Thanks for the alert regarding those release date changes, Gilly. IMO, there's no doubt the prices will go up. . .so it goes.

The subscription for the uncirculated mint set is now closed. Production of 190k is about what 2025 was.
Seems low considering it is a one year design.

I am signed up for two of those. As well as two proof sets and one silver set. Was going to cancel my silver set subscription but given the one-year nature I'll hang onto until I see what $80/oz silver does to the price.

I feel like I might want to keep the OGP intact, special year and all. Since my custom ultra-modern albums have unlabeled holes (I can skip dates), I may forgo my original plan of buying two of each.

The silver proof set will be expensive but I believe you will be rewarded with the coin appreciation.

I'll check it out, but I think you're seeing the Enhanced Uncirculated American Gold Eagle. Not silver. But the Uncirculated ASE is Enhanced Uncirculated this year. 2 different coins.

Confirmed, that's the Enhanced Uncirculated American Gold Eagle I think you're seeing. That would be pretty awesome if the US Mint would do gold over silver on an Enhanced Uncirculated ASE though, could you imagine that!? I was thinking, oh man, don't tell me they did that! My wallet!!

But I guess I mentioned, that Enhanced Uncirculated gold eagle really has my heart rate up! I'm really hoping to be able to get that, I wish I had more time to save for it. That's really the only "out of the ordinary" purchase I plan for the year. Other than reactivating my silver proof set subscription. But of course I won't have an S proof or limited edition silver proof set to buy this year.

I do have some gold eagles, not by themselves, but with a few of the sets I have. The important one is they made a 3 coin 20th Anniversary gold set.
2006 was the first year for Uncirculated finish silver and gold eagles. The gold set is the same as the silver set, has a proof, an Uncirculated, and a reverse proof. That gold set was the only time they made a reverse proof gold eagle. The only special finish they have ever made on a gold eagle to this very day. Other than the V75 privy, but that's not a finish.
So I'm very amped up to try to get this Enhanced Uncirculated gold eagle. Luckily it's just the one coin, not a 3 coin set.
I do have a couple other 1oz gold coins I could think about selling to come up with the money, but I really don't want to (2013W reverse proof buffalo $50, only time they made a reverse proof gold buffalo, OR my 2009 UHR, Ultra High Relief St Gaudens) Those are both beautiful coins I'd hate to part with.

Seems very low indeed, 1847bill. I'm guessing the secondary market flippers will have a field day.
The Proof Set Subscription is also "Currently Unavailable"
The UNC set is still showing no HOL; likewise, the Proof Set does not show a HOL.
Silver Proof Set Subscriptions remain available, with a HOL of 10; no Mintage or Product Limits shown.

Before Christmas, I increased my subscription QTY from 1 to 2 on the UNC & Proof Sets. I've decided to bump the Silver Proof Set subscription to 2 also (while I still can ! )

Morgan's Dad, you stated:

Quote:
Gold Enhanced Uncirculated American Silver Eagle

You have gold and silver stated for the same coin.
Properly stated, they are the Enhanced Uncirculated American Silver Eagle and the Enhanced Uncirculated American Gold Eagle.
But yes it would be cool.
I don't think it's anything the Mint would do, but I didn't think they'd ever to colorized coins either, but they did. They haven't been keen on doing it again, apparently. That was a few years ago now. They did what, a basketball coin it medal, and a colorized Purple Heart medal? Only a couple times I believe.
