Guatemala 1/4 Real Silver Coin (Bracelet)

I have a MS coin coming too, but this piece is interesting. What do you think? Obverse is three volcanoes (volcanoes of Lake Atitlan), one smoking, and a shining sun. Reverse is 1/4 Real statement with a wreath and 5 stars. There are 63 1/4 real coins (1894-1897; 0.835 fine), and one 1899 1/2 Real (0.60 fine) at the end. It's a shame that these cute little coins were defaced, but I suppose that at the time they were only worth about melt. I really like these coins, and as we both agree it is a shame to see them soldered together, but still when I saw the piece for sale and not too much above melt value of the coins, I could not resist. I am hoping the chain and hooks are sterling also, but do not have any way to test. I may have to order a small silver test kit.
