I know very little about paper money, and I was wondering is there a certain cutoff date for US bills that anything before that is worth hanging on to? I have multiple $50 bills from the 70s and I was curious if they are worth more than face value

All depends on the condition and scarcity of the notes. Post pictures of one at a time in it's own topic/thread and members can tell you what you have.
