Same. I thought I was going to bail before I got gouged with the 2026 prices but I think I need to close out my collection with the 250th products. *sigh*

Agreed, I would like to get some of the 2026 goodies and then be done. My credit card will be bleeding. I typically don't buy gold but after missing last years flowing hair gold coin I was leaning towards the best of the mint gold 1804 dollar/medal set. I fear it will be over $10k with gold spot price and mint premium.

Mint gold is probably forever out of reach for me now.

Well at these new prices, the mint had BETTER make sure that all the coins are perfectly flawless - otherwise they will go back for exchange until I get a perfect set.

The cost went up because they are hiring an all new Quality Control team!

I wouldn't get your hopes up. I just sent back both the 2023 LESPS and the 2023 Unc. Silver Eagle that I ordered before the price increase because they had multiple issues. Hopefully the replacements will be better. Last year I returned my 2025 Proof Set three times before I got a problem-free set.

If anyone hears from the Mint how they can justify the massive price increases, please share here. Just for fun I figured the price of the Mint set is over 21x face

If I were a betting man—I am not—I would put my money on laziness: easier to raise prices across the board than to target items with precious metals.

Remember when silver coins were only worth that?

The price increase for non-silver products is extraordinary and completely unexpected

As someone who occasionally buys from foreign mints, I'm a little less surprised. The American prices were always some of the lowest out there for comparable products.

I was planning on closing all my sets with 2026 dated coins and just concentrate on filling the back dates. I don't think I'll be buying any of the sets at these prices. Maybe in a few years, I'll pick them up on the secondary market for much less.

With the SemiQ coins in mind, I went to raise my subscription to the maximum. I had 25 in mind, then found the max was 10. Okay, ten then.
That was before they bumped the price up to $124.50!!! Ok, maybe two, then. It's a year-on-year increase of nearly quadruple the price. I believe it's a bigger bump than their silver issues.

I have a Mint Set collection, missing only three years from 1960 to 2025. Unless the pricing improves, 2026 will be the last year of my collection.

I canceled all my silver subscriptions after the price rose to $91. The last things I bought were 2024 Uncirc Silver Eagle and Peace dollar.

Guns are a lot of fun to collect and even more fun to shoot.
I stopped collecting when my safe got full and I didn't have room for another one. I'm especially fond of revolvers.

Why quit collecting? Buy another safe!

As I mentioned, I don't really have room for a second safe.
The real problem is being a gun enthusiast living in California. One would think we already had enough gun laws here but there are about ten new ones this year.
Besides, I've been spending all my money on silver coins.

People who live in other States probably have no idea of the hoops we have to jump through in order to buy the ammunition for those guns.
