I thought the increase in uploadable size would be good for scans of full pages of coins. I was disappointed.

Please be patient! Large files can take up to 30 seconds to upload and process.

The first pic took 10 minutes to upload. Subsequent pics (same size) took 1min 30sec.

Size and quality of pics drastically reduced upon uploading.

This pic uploaded upside down (The picture was taken this way but was rotated by me 180 degrees and saved before uploading. For some reason it reverted to this orientation upon uploading here. Picture opens correct way up on all programs on my computer)

I'll stick to uploading smaller images.

I cannot control your connection; everyone's is different. I uploaded a 6.2MB image yesterday that took 33 seconds and processed beautifully. It's the nature of the beast, larger images take longer. Some things haven't changed since dial-up.

The uploader does nothing with orientation. People upload sideways and upside-down images here all the time and have for years. Phones do that sometimes. I have Irfanview installed on the server and fix them as I see them.

The uploader will resize to 1400px on the longest side. It's simply not designed for 30-40 coins in one image. It's designed for singles, or an obverse and reverse in one pic and does a fantastic job at what it's designed for.
