You can crop images directly on the camera after they have been taken. In playback mode, go to the menu, select the [Cropping] option, and use the zoom lever to resize the frame and the arrow keys to move it. You can save the cropped image as a new, separate file, keeping the original image intact. If you have already downloaded these to a computer, then use the Photo software to crop.
