I know several collectors who are currently working on or have worked on an Odd Denomination set of United States ("US") coinage. These sets typically include a Copper Half-Cent coin (1793-1857), a Copper Two-Cent piece (1864-1873), a Silver Three-Cent piece (1851-1873), a Copper-Nickel Three-Cent piece (1865-1889) and a Silver Twenty-Cent piece (1875-1878). Some collectors also include a Silver Half Dime (1792-1873) and a Gold Three-Dollar coin (1854-1889)in their sets.

The coins make for a very interesting collection (IMO) but the set could be even larger and more interesting if one or more 20th Century coin proposals had been approved.

Here are links to brief stories about them (arranged by denomination):

- What If? 1920 Theodore Roosevelt Two-Cent Coin
- What If? 1921 Theodore Roosevelt Two-Cent Coin
- What If? 1976 Bicentennial Two-Cent Piece
- What If? 1921 Theodore Roosevelt Two-and-One-Half Cent
- What If? 1924 Roosevelt, Harding And Wilson 2-1/2 Cent Coins
- What If? 1912 Three-Cent Piece
- What If? 1912 Three-Cent Piece, Half Cent And Changed One Cent
- What If? 1938 Three-Cent Coppers
- What If? 1917 6-Cent Coins For Circulation
- What If? 1924 Warren G. Harding - 7-1/2 Cent Coin
- What If? 1918 15-Cent Coins For Circulation

Thank you for reminding us of your prior threads on these oddball denominations.

I re-read several of them tonight, and remain truly impressed with your unparalleled ability to combine informative historical research with an engaging writing style.

Your contributions IMO bring a tremendous benefit to the CCF family.

But - I suspect you already know that.

Thank you for putting these all together. Odd denominations were a big draw for me to start collecting in the first place - fascinating reads!

Very interesting reads on a bit different topic. Thanks for bringing them together for us to look over again (and maybe for the first time!).
