Grading Opinions, With Noted Tooling, Of A Nero Denarius.

Thank you, Travelcoin. CNG, graded the coin VF. I've yet to have the coin in hand, but from what I see for tooling on the obverse it seems very minor. The coin is definitely better than my first Nero denarius, as the flan was only 17mm and the coin only had partial legends, so a decent upgrade.

I felt this example had a nice portrait of Nero, but I wish there was a bit more detail of, Roma on the reverse.

I still have Caligula, Claudius and Otho to go into completing my 12 Caesars set. Caligula and Claudius seem especially daunting to acquire in silver denarii.
