I like the idea of having some really nice slabbed coins in the future.
However, I don't really entirely know how the best way would be to store them in my scenario.

I like keeping all my coin items in one area. But having loose slabs kind of makes me feel... uneasy.

I considered looking into some kind of album where you can fit slabs into. I don't know if Dansco makes one or not. I don't know if it would also be worth it either, considering I don't know how many I'll have in the future. It might be only a few.
Any suggestions?

I swing a metal detector and have a knack for finding dirty old coins.

They do not. But you can get pages to fit CAPS and similar albums.

I use this Lighthouse box for my PCGS Ike set.

I use NGC and PCGS boxes. I use to be able to get them for free from my LCS but now they run a few dollars ( you can also find them on ebay). The problem with them is they are brand specific so they work best with their company's slabs. I don't know about the dimensions for CAC boxes.

I also recommend slip sleeves to protect the slabs from scratching and abrasions.

I have Lighthouse Slab Albums that holds either 4 pages of 36 slabs or 6 pages 54 slabs. Its 3-ring binder with a slip case.
Amazon has plenty of them.
The only problem is the weight once you filled up the slots.

All great ideas upthread, but a shoe box also works while you figure out when/if you want to upgrade your storage.

If you want them in an album you could get these sheets that hold them. Lighthouse does have an album but you could just get a nice binder.

I just have mine in a PCGS case and I made up my own label and taped it on it. I have another one unlabeled for all the other coins. Of course if you have a mix of different graded companies, the PCGS one won't fit the NGC holders.

I like viewing my coins so I use a three ring binder and plastic slab pages that hold 9 slabs per page. This does take quite my a bit of room but to me its well worth it.
