Your token was used by Northern Ohio Traction and Light Company, in operation from 1902-1926.
Here are two listings for it. Yours appears to be white metal (WM), which is the first listing, while the other is bronze. If WM, you should register with tokencatalog and add your images to the listing.

Indeed, not a bus but a train token.

N O T & L Co. stands for Northern Ohio Traction and Light Company. Formed in 1900, they owned the electricity grid as well as electric railways into and around Akron and surrounding cities and towns. In 1926, they changed name to Northern Ohio Power & Light Co., so the tokens must date from before this. The company sold off its railways in 1932. Their terminal station building, still known as the "NOT&L building", still stands in downtown Akron.

As an inter-city railway operator, their tokens can also be found for other cities. Here's one for Massillon, with of course an M-shaped rather than A-shaped cutout: https://en.numista.com/110424

Edit: Ninjas.

Nice token, Jethro4635! I only have a handful I've picked up over the years, but the old transportation and tax tokens are quite interesting.
