The '09 dimes went for anywhere from $26 for the first one sold about two weeks ago to $4 and change last week. They have really come down in price because the market is now "flooded" with them.
On an unrelated note I also just received an LP2 "Rail Splitter" in change at Jack in the Box today. Pretty surprised to see that one.

Yep , consider that ship sailed , rolls are going 55-60 regular now. That can only mean we'll be seeing $1 dimes pretty soon. The nickel is going from strength to strength though , $40 each easy

Thats what I was meaning Ratman , the 09 P dimes are plummeting back down to earth price wise , panic selling on ebay now. The 09 D nickel continues to climb...40 bucks was the last one I seen today. Ill snag a 09 p when it hits a doller...and free shipping lol

Well , reading the mintage figures I dont see why the nickel is holding such value..its being leaked out one by one on ebay , no rolls this time.Itll drop to 99c in time too I think I havnt seen one in circulation yet , not even a new 09 cent

I got 6 rolls of log cabins and a few out of circulation, one splitter out of circulation and 2 rolls of Tyler dollars. That's all of the 09's I've seen. Haven't even got a territorial quarter yet.

After $200 in pennies, I found 1 spotted Log cabin... but at least the banks have gotten the quarters and dollars.

Well, I finally got one today.....2009 P Dime. I usually go to the bank about twice per week....been asking for two rolls each nickels and dimes for about the past month. Got my rolls this morning and found one 2009 P dime. They are hard to find !

An observation 2009 P Nickels are dropping in final prices realized on ebay. At first release and discovery, they were getting almost $80.00 on average, went down to mid $50-$60.00 range, hovered at $50.00 last week, and now I see they are going just above $40.00 with free shipping. This coming week should see $20.00 to $30.00 final bids. Patience patience patience. 2009 P dimes were hot and selling for $30.00 and are now selling for under $4.00 with free shipping. I don't see any D mints out there yet?

Yep the P dimes were played foolishly fast and loose , everybody and their cat is selling them on ebay.Patience is right Wheezy, these will drop even more. It looks like the sellers wised up for the nickels , I havnt seen a roll for sale yet on ebay but that will come and signal the end of the high prices. I havnt seen D mint dime yet either Wheezy , p dimes and nickels and d nickels.

I am curious about this situation of the mint stopping production of P and D nickels and dimes.....since they have not put the 2009 Mint Set on sale, wouldn't that have to make more for those sets?

I have been checking E-BAY for quite some time, about the 2009-P, Nickels and Dimes. I decided to buy the ONLY (Dime) rolls I could find, and believe me, there were no more than 2-people selling, original bank wrapped rolls. I gave in and made to plunge, cant wait to receive them(paid enough) , However, Now that I will have them I will let my son play salesman on E-BAY to off set the original costs.Selling some singularly should do the trick, after all, who does not want the 2009-P Dime.......(well most who collect them do!) I have not seen many OBW rolls, some tube container ones, mostly Proofs. I did not want to take the chance of waiting and possibly not receiving some rolls.....

Good luck to your lad MD , I think the bottem is ready to drop out making any money wise on them ebay wise. Youd have to match or undercut everybody else which in turn means the next guy will undercut you , its getting pathetic really. Some sellers offering 3 for 14.95 kinda thing , keen to offload them. I aquired a dozen rolls of 2009's,pictures around here somewhere on the forum.Got them from the bank. Would I sell them on ebay ? No. Its something that might pay off in my old age many years from now,if not..i didnt lose a dime..literally.

I would be happy if my son collected $5.00 a piece for these dimes, also I would not mind if I kept them all. I do see that most people are selling a Dime for $4.99, starting bid and some have gone to $10.00 with 2-3 hours left, so I do not think the floor is pulled out just YET, also it's not like it would be terrible to keep them for my collection. I also do not see that the coin is flooding the market place, nor do I see it being spotted all over the place. I do think there is still some time to have people who would like this coin, to receive it for a small fee, I do think that the rolls of the business strikes will appear some day, but not just yet!! Of course this is just my personal observation, and I could be wrong.......
