Sometimes I download my resized forum photos onto my iPad for future reference. I have noticed that since the resizing software upgrade, the date on all the image files is now September 11, 2000 instead of the original date.

Maybe it's something that I've done on my end, but I don't think it is.

Here's your latest uploads on the server, they're all dated correctly. Must be something happening when you download them again.

Hm. If I download the image below onto my iPad and look at the date, it says September 11, 2000. But above in your list, the file shows a current date. I wonder if your search shows the modified date, but my iPad shows the date created. I'm noticing that the date is only wrong on the photos that I took with my new camera—maybe the creation date isn't set on the camera, and that gets carried along in the image metadata.

The iPad Photos app primarily displays the original creation date (capture date)—when the photo was actually taken—for sorting and viewing. It reads this information from the image's metadata (EXIF data) rather than the file system's modified date, ensuring edited photos still appear in chronological order.

Yeah, it's on my end. Thanks for checking! =)

Need to set the date on my camera, I guess.
