This thread is going to be about my Large Cent acquisitions. I'm currently working on getting almost all of them in my collection. Some I can't get, because the prices are just way too high for my budget. I'll start off with showing the ones I already bought that are in my collection. Sorry about the pictures not being the best. I can get more pictures later on, if requested, of the coins out of the binder.

Thank you, both! My goal is to get almost all of them for my collection. I'll update this thread when I get more Large Cents.

Nice job, Errers! I like the chronological arrangement of your coins. I also store my coins in flips now.

Thank you, HondoB! I like having them in order. It really helps the album to look neat. I usually store them in non pvc 2x2 flips, so they won't get pvc damage.

Although I'm not an album filler myself, it's quite enjoyable to watch you guys chase your goals. Good luck catching them all! =P

I did have a question about the flips. I guess there isn't a concern that the copper coins will scrape against those staples at some point?

Well done EV, great collection.
I swing a metal detector and have a knack for finding dirty old coins.

Thank you, both! I used to put many staples in for some reason, but I stopped doing it. I put one or two staples only now. Thankfully the copper coins haven't scraped against the staples yet. I appreciate the concern, Brandmeister. I'll be more careful in the future from now on.

Very nice, large cents have long been a favorite of mine. I started a set years ago and kept adding occasionally, unfortunately I am down to the last few that just aren't going to happen unless I chance upon them metal detecting!

Thanks for sharing. I've said it once, and I'll say it again, that my Large Cent book set is the most difficult set I ever started. All the different varieties are beyond me. Good luck filling.
