Hello, I cannot seem to find this exact medal online. I can find other examples with the same obverse (it seems to be from the 30 siglos series?) but none with the same reverse. It's silver and weighs 1 oz.

Any help is appreciated :)

Would that be a Mexican coin laying on the medal just to show you the size of it? What exact coin is that small one?

Marv, that's part of the design. Note that it says "37.5 g ORO PURO", or 37.5 g Pure Gold. This is the coin pictured on the medal: https://en.numista.com/15038
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

I just wondered why it had a shadow on the right side. Does that part stick up above the surface of the rest of the coin?
