From 2008 ro 2010, Mexico celebrated both the Bicentennial of the beginning of the Mexico's War of Independence and the Centennial of the beginning of the Mexican Revolution. One aspect of the celebrations was a series of bimetallic Five Peso circulating commemorative coins - 19 for the Bicentennial and 18 for the Centennial.
The coins use the "$5" to indicate "Five Pesos".
I don't want to choke up this thread with a run of 37 coins that have been previously posted, so I'll post one example from the series and provide a link to where the others can be seen (with a few page flips).
