1943 Steel Lincoln Penny - It Has A Unique Appearance

Akuma12 New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 02/24/2026 07:38 am Good Morning Coin Community, I have a 1943 steel penny that looks more unique than my many other 1943 pennies. This coin is a copper color in many spots and it does stick to a magnet. I'm sure everyone is going to say it's just rust, which may be very true. The fact that I have a handful of other pennies that are copper and have the same color as my 1943 Steel penny is making me question is this coin made out of other material.
