Maybe good to VG. But would not have it graded because of the damage.

This one looked like a very weakly struck VF to me due to the stronger features in the center of the coin on both sides. But with the black spot, did a pass on this one.

I think it is the dies. It is weak all around the rims on both sides.

not grease it looks like something that fell on the die a little piece of metal or something its rectangular in shape. the black mark on the reverse could be organic but if you were to use say an acetone soak it would expose metal under it. i'd be inclined to leave it as is.

i dont see anything on the obv that would details the coin, the left side of the reverse most likely would with damage along the wheat stalk and 'E PLU'

maybe F details ( PMD)

this is not a coin I would consider for my collection. there are way better examples. you can get a decent coin for about $30-35

VF-25, strong separation between the cheek and jaw. The black stuff appears to be a simple organic residue, probably easily removed.
