The 11S is what I call the "big one" from the series. They are scarce - especially in the high grades. I'm willing to bet on ebay there are 10x more 09 SVDB's for sale than 11S'. This and the MS red 1931-D are two coins folks forget about. They are real buggers to find!
Unfortunately, the coin has been cleaned. The reverse took most of the beating it looks like. It appears to be an old cleaning as the coin has toned over a bit. The traces of original brown around the devices would prevent it from ever slabbing. Perhaps the lighting is cutting through? - that'd save the coin but I have to call it as I see it with the given pictures.
It's still a nice example! It's pleasing to the eye, no major hits, distractions or damage. I'd like it if the price was right because it's still an 11S! Looks to be on the cusp of VG but the obverse detail screams F (nearly VF like your other coin).
