They are currently at the end of the list now - what else will the mint delay?

Production issues and scheduling must be horrific. I was telling a friend that I can't see how they can go back to makeup for shortfalls in production. Be prepared for this to last all year. There is so much and so little time.

Quote: what else will the mint delay? Any product that contains the Half; like the US Mint Sets / Uncirculated Coin Set.

Higher prices, delayed deliveries, rescheduled products, poor communications. Almost 4 months into this years offerings and they keep getting further behind. Looks like the mint bit off way more than can efficiently do with this rodeo 3-ring circus they have going. So much winning we just can't keep up!

Looks like the 2026 Half Dollars (from the Mint) have been moved up to a late May release. We shall see!

So my 2026 US Mint Set with the $21.39 Half Dollars might be delayed? Darnn.

There was a reason why the Mint started bicentennial production in 1975. An undertaking this large requires tremendous effort, particularly if there are any challenges along the way.

The Denver mint was producing half dollars when I was there in early February.

Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

The late changes of the designs did not help.

Tbh, I would rather have a temporary delay on the coins if it means a better design.

A fair point. An old industry joke... "Good, Cheap, Fast. Pick two." For the US Mint... Pick One and hope it hits.
