I have split your request off from your other thread, so that the experts are more likely to see it and chime in.

These purport to be Chinese "spade money", as I've added to the title. These designs were issued by emperor Wang Mang; the one on the right is 25 cash fifth series, the one on the left is 1000 cash third series. Unfortunately, both of these have the look and feel of modern replicas.

They may be real. Weight and size are a starting point.

Thank you Sir SAP! I appreciate the guidance!

Keith67, thank you also , I'll try and weigh these on my wife's kitchen/cooking scale as I don't have a light weight scale, just my trusty Palouse Postal scale. AND I'll be checking out the links you provided....THANKS Again!

Nickelsearcher, Thanks for the kind welcoming, I have, however, been a member, absent for the past 3.5 yrs due to medical reasons, since 2021. By the way, do you search Canadian Nickels? I have a dozen or so and if you want them, I'd love to send them to you free of charge. My wife & I, in our 80's are getting rid of stuff in prep to move into a much smaller home....and God forbid, a nursing home, etc.
If you don't want them, the 1st person to let me know will receive them.

jbuck, good to hear from you and I greatly appreciate your "welcome Back" message!

THANK YOU!

I visited the links provided by Keith67 and the smaller of the two Spade Money's the 1000 cash, may be legit as it matches the info given, the only difference is that this Cash weighs 14g while the posted weight is 14.48, but then I do not know the accuracy of my wife's kitchen scale!

The 25 cash is probably a replica because even though it weighs the same 17g, it is 57.5mm and not the 59mm listed, and there are slight design differences as well.

The value for the 1000 cash in VF is $150.00. I won't be subbing it as in this market I'll probably only get $17.50 for it!

Thanks again Keith.
