Question: Is this a genuine missing colour phase banknote, or has it been washed / bleached / left in the sun?
The width is identical to a normal note, but the height is slightly smaller. The width of the purple main part of the banknote is slightly smaller. I have seen shrunken banknotes with a similar look that must have been through some sort of treatment, but this one is pretty much the correct size.
Banknote in question:

Normal Phillips Randall banknote underneath
As above, normal note underneath

Thank you for the replies. I have seen a couple of notes like this, and always from the 1969-1972 era, so was wondering whether they were a genuine error or modified afterwards.
