Question: Is this a genuine missing colour phase banknote, or has it been washed / bleached / left in the sun?

The width is identical to a normal note, but the height is slightly smaller. The width of the purple main part of the banknote is slightly smaller. I have seen shrunken banknotes with a similar look that must have been through some sort of treatment, but this one is pretty much the correct size.

Banknote in question:

Back
$5-Phillips-Randall---Missing-Colour-Phase---Genuine?

Normal Phillips Randall banknote underneath
$5-Phillips-Randall---Missing-Colour-Phase---Genuine?

As above, normal note underneath
$5-Phillips-Randall---Missing-Colour-Phase---Genuine?

(I resized my images before noticing it's no longer required. Thank you to the admins for enabling full size images)

Thank you

It looks more bleached/faded to me.

Yep,notes that go thru the wash in shirts/pants can get that bleached look.

Thank you for the replies. I have seen a couple of notes like this, and always from the 1969-1972 era, so was wondering whether they were a genuine error or modified afterwards.
