I've been posting photos of this that and the other for ID'ing and see that you all say you looked them up, or after a little research....and posted that info.....so I said to myself, self why not look em up yourself......so I did, on ebay and came up with the facts on this German Token and am posting it for your perusal: GERMANY, Braunschweig-Calenberg-Hannover (Kurfürstentum und Herzogtum). temp. Georg III. King of Great Britain, 1760-1840. CU Münzmeisterpfennig - Mint master's pfennig (29mm, 4.4 g, 6h). Johann Wilhelm Schlemm, mintmaster? Struck circa 1753-1790. OMNIA CUM PONDERE NUMERO ET MENSURA, Aequitas standing left, holding scales and overflowing cornucopia / FORTUNA VARIABILIS, Fortuna standing right, head left, on globe, with billowing cloth; in background, ship under sail left.

Well done @jom. I like the amount of remaining detail on this one.

Thank you two for viewing and commenting on my post of this German Token! I especially appreciate your appreciation Spence! Thank you!
Keith67, I visited the Numista page you provided, thank you. Looks like Numista is the place for me to go from now on
Keith67 I'm a bit dense at times (well, most of the time) so please interpret "...You just need the basics"" for me

Well done @ Jomic! love that token above, you provided some great info on it.
Have you tried using Numista.com yet? It is a great resource, but search parameters need to be pretty accurate as possible (no typos, or misplaced spaces between words.) I use it everyday for ID'ing my coins, and even cataloging them there as well.

Yes Dearborn,I have tried Numista. I think that the info I enter is not, as you say, earch parameters need to be pretty accurate as possible (no typos, or misplaced spaces between words.) because I only receive "not Found"
I do appreciate your suggestion and will keep trying to use Numista...,
Besides your recommendation, I see all over the net that Numista has provided the answer to a lot of inquiries.
Thanks again.

It takes time, trial and error to get used to Numista, but once you learn the basics of their data base it gets real easy. there is even a "Search by image" there too, to help find a coin.
