I went to the coin show in Wilmington NC today and at the first table, the first coin I look at is a reverse proof Truman dollar and an ANACS PF 70 Slab

I have this coin in my NGC Brown Label collection but I wanted a second coin for my Presidential Page in my Variations Album

So I asked the dealer what he wanted for it and he said $10

I literally said "Dude, I can't let you sell me that coin for that, it's a hundred dollar coin all day long on ebay"

He said he didn't care, that he got it in a estate sale and probably paid face value for it

I couldn't even get him to take $20 for it, now I just need the 1 once silver Inauguration coin and Truman's row will be complete

This and the great deal I got on the 2016 Gold Winged Liberty Dime made the 2 hour trip worth it.

And that is why everyone should tell their family members to NOT sell their collection to a dealer upon your death.
