I have had this coin for over 26 years and it has literally changed colors. Not sure what's going on, but it weighs 12 grams. I can get better pictures tomorrow in the sun so you can see the colors. Pretty cool. These pictures really don't show the hues of colors, gold red, orange, brown and blues.

to the CCF

Best practice is to show both sides of the coin.

No doubt some environmental toning going on here. How has the coin been stored?

Coins can change many colours depending on the
environment they were stored in.nNothing unusual.

its pretty much impossible to assess these surfaces with all of the blotchy toning on both sides.

the coin has been improperly stored for quite a while. humidity could be the culprit. the coin would be on the low end of eye appeal.
there is a chance a TPG would call this ED. whatever happened, it cannot be reversed

It's environmental toning. I would put it in a 2x2 to protect it from further environmental damage. Also, only hold the coin by the edge or wear gloves. The coin will get toning and oils from our fingerprints.

Nothing to worry about, natural tone. The coin has no real value above it's 40% silver content.
