Hello Coin Community, I'm hoping you can help me with this one. I found a Die Clash Error both sides on the 1976-D Bicentennial Kennedy half dollar, but it is not listed on the Mad Die Clash site and they have suspended submissions. I have attached a few photos for reference. My questions are as follows: Has anyone seen this error? Is there another site or contact that I should reach out to get this listed? If I reach out to the grading companies, would they list this as a discovery coin? Which coin grading company would be best for submission. Thanks,

to CCF looks like a very nice die clash - I can see almost the entire profile of Kennedy head from the nose down - nose, lips, chin, and back of the head and neck

Nice clash, great find! You can send to a TPG and they will label it as a "Clashed Dies" error. The only way to get "Discovery Coin" labeled is to wait until Maddieclashes lists it and then sending in to ANACS with documentation for grading.

You might try and contact CONECA and see if they would like to feature the coin in ErrorScope. Then Jason C. could photograph and enter it into Maddieclashes. It might make a nice feature for a semiquincentennial year issue.

That is an excellent suggestion. It's a great year to feature a novel bicentennial error.
