I just received my P & D Dime rolls and due to entirely stupid way the Mint packs these for shipping P roll got damaged on the end The Mint just puts them in a 6 x 2 x 3 box with some internally folded cardboard flaps that do nothing to secure the coins and are probably what damaged the roll I bought these from and Mint affiliated retailer for $60 plus $14 shipping They don't have anything to replace them with but they will refund my money minus shipping and return shipping which will be about $25 total I guess I'll list these on ebay but I doubt I recoup all of the money I spent on these

Quote: I bought these from and Mint affiliated retailer... So, they didn't ship to you from the "fulfillment center"?

I can see how that is frustrating. Sorry for the troubles. That said - I edited your thread title to keep the language family friendly. Please remain mindful of this going forward. Thanks

Well, that is very disappointing to get these highly anticipated rolls in such condition.

There is unfortunately not much accountability left anymore. These kind of situations are becoming more and more common.

You know I've ordered many rolls from the Mint, all the way back to the beginning of the Innovation dollars plus the Native Amer. dollars and some years of half's never had any problems like that except for 1 time but at that time the shipping box was damaged by the USPS. I'm seeing this as more of a problem from the seller you dealt with Quote: Well, that is very disappointing to get these highly anticipated rolls in such condition Couldn't have said it many better. Have you connected the Seller?

So then shipping wasn't actually from the US Mint?

I'm seeing this as more of a problem from the seller you dealt with I've bought rolls and bags from the US Mint since 2000, never an issue. But then, it sounds like these were not purchased directly from the Mint. Every roll I've purchsed from the Mint came in the standard sealed white box with a plastic caddy.

I just realized that I paid $40 for both rolls and $14 shipping
The cleck told me they were $60 plus shipping but I just check my CC transaction and I was only charged $54

I considered offering them here first, if I decided to sell them a 2 coin sets, but it cause me a lot of additional work to sell the remaining sets on ebay if I only got a little interest Since I just realized I paid less than I thought for these I'm going to go and revise my ebay listing
