Okiecoiner..I love your handle, oops, I mean, I mean, darn it, moniker?.ah, avatar!
Sometimes (well, most of the time) getting old just downright sucks - sure ain't for wimps! As you mentioned: Ills & pains! If it weren't for pains I think I wouldn't know that I was alive!
Holy cow, 1100 1859 large cents!!! Without looking in the book, why 1859's? Man, it would take me weeks just to examine them.all said, Congratulations!!!!!
Gardening, now you're about to make me cry - I always had a Hugh productive garden- fed the neighborhood and even beyond. One of my zucchinis ended up 150 miles away, taken there by a gal I gave a bunch to who took them there to pass out to friends! I haven't been able to garden for over 6 years ago now.
You mentioned that you sold, via a friend, thousands of coins on Facebook - how did that go, price wise? I've only ever used ebay with about the same amount of coins - way back when, when I was about 27 years old I stumbled upon a once in a life time purchase of approximately 22,000 coins, tokens, medals, you name it, for only $2,250.00!
I've made well over $48K off that and still going! If you'd like to hear the story of how and what the contents were, just let me know.
Well, I've chewed your ear off enough for now.
Take care.
