1910S_1C Valued Member United States 52 Posts	Posted 04/24/2026 11:09 pm I recently received this 1956 D over Inverted D quarter back from grading at ANACS. I cherrypicked this coin from a dealer's junk silver bin and sent it in because it looked nice. I was expecting it to grade AU-55, but it came back as only an AU-53. I suppose that the saying that one should expect a Washington quarter to come back a grade lower than one's impression has merit. EDIT: I see that my portrait-oriented photographs show up rotated 90 degrees in my posts. Is anybody else experiencing a similar issue?
