My interest lies in the fact that I've been collecting information about the tokens of each individual island in this group for many years. For example, coins from the Cook Islands are not uncommon, but private tokens from the Cook Islands are a completely different matter. Similarly, coins from the Northern Mariana Islands are quite common, but private tokens from the same islands are a separate and rare story. Has anyone looked into these issues before?
I suggest collecting information about private tokens on these islands in this thread. Anyone seen anything and know anything? For example, here's a token from the Cook Islands, and it specifically mentions the island of Rarotonga:
