Hi everyone,

This object turned up in a bulk lot and frankly, I don't know where to start. I haven't entered it into Zeno yet as I thought I may get a quicker ID on CC. I think it is copper.
Diameter = 18-19mm
Weight = 4.12g

Thanks

Interesting coin David. A quick image search suggests it may be a Celtic potin coin.
Maybe post it in the ancient forum, if you have no luck here, or I see there are some Celtic coin groups on Facebook.

I'm wondering if it might be made of lead? Lead seals and lead tokens are both known from the mediaeval and early modern periods.
