Victor, your collection is absolutely incredible! Very impressive from both a quality and extent perspective, and your web pages are fantastic. I am in awe!
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
Here is one of my Carthage trays. These are Lighthouse 20 compartment trays (42x42mm). Most of the Carthage coins are fairly large at 25mm + and there is plenty of room. I make my own tags; but any old tags are also kept in the tray.
Thank you for sharing. I knew the website but never noticed it was yours. Great organization and no unnecessary scripts.
I am also coming to the conclusion that trays are the best way to store coins. And always pester dealers and auction houses to sell old tags with the coins, never throw them away. They become part of the history of a coin.
Super nice trays and organization to store your coins. I only use 2" x 2" acid free paper flips in coin boxes for my ancients, most of them are lower cost well circulated but I have some high grade expensive ones.
