It feels real, looks and sounds real. But what is up with the reverse?

Minerva leaning on shield
Caracalla was 'raised' as an army brat and had a violent personality
You will find both Mars and Fides making frequent appearances on his coinage

Yes it does .
In fact I had ID'd it as Mars then changed it to Minerva as Mars is usually rendered in the 'buff'
But this figure appears bearded
Mars is a much better bet !

Mars has many depictions, some of which are fully clothed.

Here is a similar, but opposite direction, depiction of what can only be concluded as Mars. Fully clothed, clearly masculine and bearded.

sometimes the legend helps when he is fully clothed....

Sometimes it doesn't but Mars here is nude from the waist upwards. It is clearly male and thus not Virtus. The helmet, spear and trophy would all be attributed of Mars.
