The rule has been in place since September of last year, but loosely enforced.
Due to some recent things I've seen here and elsewhere, we will be cracking down hard from now on.
The problem in a nutshell is that it has started making us look like morons. AI-generated text and images get indexed, then used in additional AI results. The problem is, a lot of times it's wrong to begin with, then it gets regurgitated by us, and reindexed from here, which is another accuracy vote for the AI. Except now the AI returns it with us as a source. We look like morons.
I will not let this happen.
So do not post anything AI. At all.
Please do not post any links to AI, pasted AI text, screenshots of AI, or AI-generated images. Your post will be deleted when we see it.

The speed of corruption has been remarkable on the Internet. In the last few months, my feed has been flooded with low quality historical slop. AI research, AI written script, AI stock footage stitched with real images, AI narrator. Then the AI engines consume that "content", feed it back as legitimate, and the cycle runs again. It's the snake eating its own tail.
Pretty soon this society is going to know nothing about everything.

Some of the research I've done on medals posted in various forums include AI sourced info. . .there might be a link or two, bobby. I understand if they need to be deleted to conform to the CCF policy.

Thank you, Bobby! I've been trying to do my part and report such posts. Not seeing any more of Marve's creations is a disappointment, but it is for the best. Hopefully we won't be the old man screaming at clouds.
