This is an interesting series of coins to collect (and stack) that I dabbled in back in 2007. By 2009 they became too costly for me to continue as a series collection but I was able to add a few to my holdings over the years. I did complete a sub set of first spouse liberty examples for un married presidents. Are they going to continue with first spouse coins as the first ladies pass?

That's a nice one. I only have one First Spouse, the same as you posted.

Very Sweet Pictures, Of Awesome deep cameo's , Well Done .... If I may @ the risk of the Maybe the obvious, Why in " The First Spouse " 1/2 oz Gold series, Are the 1st Spouse's names, Left out. Also, IMO, Only those " edumacated " to know who's picture or Nicknames, or the numerical order in which a President served, So why no Wives names,

Has anyone else noticed, The Artist's initials on These Gold coins are Smaller than say an American Silver Eagle's designer's initials, Much smaller. They do Not take away from the overall designs, ...

@ morgans dad, these two examples are with presidents that did not have a spouse. So the mint issued first spouse coins for those presidents with a liberty design similar to the coinage of the time. There are four "liberty" examples all the rest have a likeness and name of the presidents spouse.

I've been to the Jackson plantation outside of Nashville, the Hermitage with a museum.. He is buried near the mansion. There's several original slave cabins on the property.

Another example of a "liberty" for the presidential spouse series Buchannan's liberty.
