I have this very well worn coin from Baden where I just cannot tell what exactly it is. On the front, below the crown, I cannot figure out what is within the coat of arms. It is not the usual Baden design.

The back is nearly worn bare, but I can make out the words Land=Munz and 1 K____UT.

Does anyone recognize the coat of arms on this coin?

Diameter and weight would be really helpful.

I think that you have one of these 1 Kreuzer coins but that it has been counterstamped.

I agree that the writing on both sides would indicate the 1813 Kreutzer. It explains the UT. However, the design within the coat of arms still puzzles me.

It's a counterstamp. That may also be why the reverse is obliterated.
