Good afternoon,

Can someone evaluate this 2017-D Lincoln Cent for me and verify whether it was struck on a silver dime planchet?

I have attached some images with a comparison of images from PCGS.

Please advise.

Thank you:)

To be honest, I have no idea why you would think this is anything but a normal penny.

To CCF! This is just a normal, stained circulated cent. Worth 1 cent.

If it was struck on a dime planchet, it would be smaller than a cent.
Also it would not be copper coloured, plus the weight would be
around 2.27g, 2.48g is the correct weight for a copper cent.

Ok, thank you for the knowledge.

I'm new to this forum and look forward to learning more.

I have been removing the check on include signature due to I haven't posted enough to include yet from what I remember reading when I registered.

Please let me know if I do anything wrong.

Thanks again. :)

Normal weight for a copper plated zinc core cent.

if you are seeing any silver color, it is from the zinc core that you see.
