@JimmyD: Ok thats weird because I'm looking at them right now and pic#1 is rotated to the left, #2 is upside down, #3&4 are rotated to left, #5&6 are upside down, and #7 is the only one properly oriented. Wonder how others see them?

Yes, on my end I'm seeing 'randomly' rotated images.

@proof71: Neat sets! I don't believe either was produced/sold by the Royal Canadian Mint, however. It's not terribly unusual for thrid parties to produce/market custom commemorative sets.
It's typically difficult to track down details on such privately-produced coin sets/packages unless you come across original advertisements/press releases for the them. I didn't find either.
For comparison, the Mint offered a Set of 12 Sterling Silver 25-cent pieces with a $1 coin - all Proof coins - for $129.45 (CAD). The Mint also offered base metal versions of the coins in a map board for $15. There's a reasonable chance your sets had a retail price between these two price points (likely toward the higher end).
I have one of each of the Mint's offerings, and enjoy both!

Quote: Odd that it has a Centennial dollar bill combined with the 125th Anniversary. I would suggest that the framed set was targeted at the more casual collector/souvenir seeker vs. the hard core collector. As such, the inclusion of the "Centennial" dollar might have been a aesthetic choice to "round out" the collection.

@commems: Yes, I have seen the Sterling Silver set and thats definitely a future purchase, unless I get side-tracked. Or the price of silver hits new records.
