Very hard overdate to confirm - best (only) way to be sure is get it graded/attributed. If you don't want to spend a lot of money you can send it to ANACS.

The 1877/6 has only 1 known reverse and that is another way to confirm the die marriage. If you could provide a good clear image of the reverse then we can tell if it is the 1877/6.

Yes, that is the correct reverse thus making this coin an 1877/6 half, congrats!

Here is a better picture of the crack on the reverse.

The funny thing is that I got this from the Seated Liberty group on Facebook. Everyone panned this coin as being scratched and cleaned but didn't notice the date. I grabbed it.

I had asked a question about the 1877/6 coin in the group 3 years ago about how the 6 is sitting on top of the 7. I have my own theories on how the overdate dies were made and it would explain this too. Topic for another day.
