Hello everyone. At a coin show last year I happened upon this spectacular example of an obverse die failure state with Cud on a 15-Y Fugio. The Cud can clearly be seen below the regular die break common to all of the 15 obverses. This will rewrite the emission sequence for the 15 obverse. I wanted you all to get a chance to see it before I send it off to NGC.
Needless to say I'm thrilled to curate this example.

Here's a picture I found of one struck previously that shows the beginnings of the failure.
