Another add for my medieval page.
Edward I - Penny (Class 3e), Lincoln Mint
Obverse: EDW R ANGL DNS HYB — Crowned facing bust within beaded circle
Reverse: CIVI TAS LIN COL' — "City of Lincoln"; long cross pattee with trefoils
Date: ND (1280-1281), Penny
Clearly a detectorist find - but a scarcer mint so happy to add it to the collection. Having an example from every mint should be achievable - though Kingston upon Hull and Exeter might be a good bit more challenging. (my collection so far ->
