This is a very ornate rendition of "Joe" on an 1880 Morgan dollar. Love tokens on Dollar coins are much scarcer, presumably due to the original manufacturing cost. This one shows the remnants of a pin-this was intended to be worn on clothing.

This weighs 24.4 grams, so even considering the weight of the pin remnants, even the elaborate carving only caused the loss of about 10% of the original weight of the coin.
