That was an emperor so successful he got called good and died peacefully. He had cause to put Felicitas in his coins.

But this coin will be the black sheep as I am looking at collecting the antonies in sestertius. Lack one for Trajan and I doubt that I can find a nicer looking sestertius soon to replace this dupondius.

It suffered corrosion in its past but this one has been perfectly stable. At 12.4 g it did not lose too much metal. It is still mostly readable. The most notable thing is the cracked flan mostly in the obverse, some accident of minting that now is difficult to understand.
I have now looked at identifying it with a RIC number.

I can read
IMP CAES NERVA ...... NO AVG GER DAC .M ........I P P
FE..CITAS A...... / S C

I think it can only be
RIC 626, Sear 3216
Trajan AE Dupondius. IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC PM TRP COS VI P P, radiate head right, drapery on left shoulder / FELICITAS AVGVST S C, Felicitas standing left, holding caduceus and cornucopiae. Cohen 146.
