Many years ago, I found this bill mixed in with many other Canadian bills. None were wet , by the way. The front of the bill is just as it should be, with no bleeding through. When I turned it over, I was stunned by the reddish ink smeared all over the back. Under magnification it appears to be the same color as used for the reverse design. Could wet rollers have smeared the bill? Your thoughts, please.

Without the note to examine, it could be an ink smear caused by improper wiping
of the plate. if genuine it could have a fair premium.
I might be wrong on this though, perhaps someone else will chime in.

All the ink rollers are wet, thats how they transfer the ink.

I would like a larger image to examine.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
