went to visit grandma today and befor I left she went to the back room and came out with these

i would love to know what you would grade these
and posible value

i was wondering what grade would be on the red seal star note it has all four corners torn

The 1995 is worth $2. Based on condition the other two are probably worth $2-$3. Sorry I can't offer a grade.

I would say it grades fine, but with the torn corners I think that makes it worth $2. That's just my opinion.

IMO, the red seals are keepers. I'd keep the 1995 note too; years from now it will be a reminder of a really neat grandmother.

I learned this and thought it was interesting - $2 bills used to be considered bad luck. The way to reverse the bad luck was to tear a corner off of the bill. Thats why you'll often see red seals with the corners torn off.

Haha I love visiting my grandparents. I went to their house on Monday and my grandmother asked me to "appraise" her collection of silver dollars. She came out with a bag of 100+ Peace dollars and 50+ Morgan dollars. She ended up just telling me I could take some of them.

Some good bills considering you acquired them for free. They are definitely worth keeping in my opinion.
