karrlot Pillar of the Community United States 535 Posts	Posted 07/02/2009 1:14 pm I learned this and thought it was interesting - $2 bills used to be considered bad luck. The way to reverse the bad luck was to tear a corner off of the bill. Thats why you'll often see red seals with the corners torn off. Report this Post to the Staff

I went to their house on Monday and my grandmother asked me to "appraise" her collection of silver dollars. She came out with a bag of 100+ Peace dollars and 50+ Morgan dollars. She ended up just telling me I could take some of them. Some good bills considering you acquired them for free. They are definitely worth keeping in my opinion. Report this Post to the Staff
