and it just so happens the first page I opened it to was for the 2006 $30 silver one kilo!!!!!!!!! (I tried not to drool on the pages)

Spectacular coin!! Of course the price tag is way out my league but it is one of the most beautiful coins I've ever seen. I am so impressed with the varity of coins Australia mints. I can see myself with more Aussie coins then US very shortly!

Thank you Shane for sending the book so quickly! This book will be dog eared very soon! I find myself saying "I want" with every turn of the page. You lucky Aussie's!!!!!!!!!

Lim,

found it! Page 373 . beautiful!!!!!! and I WANT one! Does Australia even MAKE an ugly coin? I am amazed. Who would have thunk a SQUARE silver coin?

The only real problem I see (aside from not being filthy rich) is the small mintages of a lot of the coins which in turn probably makes them very expensive and very hard to find.

Oh and I found an interesting bit of info too. "prices at the time of printing, Nov 2005, for gold was $464.44 US and silver $7.78 US. Yep, thats me, a day late and a dollar short.

I am going to enjoy this book and hopefully at some point decide what I would really like to collect without breaking the bank and then start adding to it as I go.

Thanks for the pix!

Margaret
