This is another 5 cent variety to watch for I have found them in Proof like sets and mint state coins, look at the second A in Canada and the D.

I like it! I usually only collect the canadian silver 5 cent pieces but I will keep my eyes open. thanks for the pic

coinsrfun hit the nail on the head, it is a die chip. Here's a picture of another one on the beavers tail (from a site that has errors on coins pictures)
