Interesting find! Judging by the color of the stone, it could be a pyrope garnet.

Thanks all. I feel I would have gotten more rings by now but according to my metal detector's manual a ring could come in as "soda tab"...and of course I never dig those so who knows what I'm missing! the reason I found this one was because it came in high on the dime tab so I figure it must definitely be silver. Thanks for the comments!

yeah if your not digging that stuff you very well could be missing some stuff. I dig practically everything. It's a lot of digging but it pays off in the long run.
