I was wondering if a sticky photobucket tutorial would be a good idea. There is always someone needing the info - I can put one together if you think it would help.

xshift, I'd love that. Step by step and finally showing how to place the link in a CCF post would be great. I created a p-bucket account and uploaded pics but couldn't figure out the rest :-)

Indeed! I will get on it, then

To post a picture from photobucket.. After you have upload your pictures there, if you hover over one, it will have a small popup listing different options of how to post in different places. The bottom option is the one you want: it has "img" enclosed in brackets [ ] and you can post in a topic by copying and pasting that link (complete with the img portion) into the topic or reply you are writing.

I'll post a step-by-step tomorrow or the next day, then we can just post a link to the directions the next time someone needs them

There are several ways to bring a picture, or other image from Photo bucket, to post the image. It depends on what you want to do. I personally prefer the simple, easy way to get the picture, and post it. I'll wait for the author(s) of this subject to make their presentation, and if it be necessary, will give my procedure, and you can compare, to see which works best for you. I prefer to post the image, rather than the link, because there times when the link will not work, or the image has been moved, or deleted, leaving you without the info.

Very interesting, and different in some ways I do it,but if the job is done, to your satisfaction, then there is no probpem not being as "computer literate" as most, My way will be simple, and different, If you are interested. just let me know, and I'll be happy to help.

Thanks, jbuck

LD, if you have a simpler way, I'm sure there would be interest. There is always more than one way to skin a cat!
