I wonder if those are always natural ... I did some experiments a while ago, on cleaned silver. Baked hot egg's white in a box, with the silver coin in there on the edge ... after a few minute the coin had a nice rainbow blue.

In one of my weekend boxes, pretty wild color. Pics aren't the best but I had to tilt the coins to pick up the color.
